Gabriele Fontana awarded first James Mitchell Award for Excellence in Collaborative Science
The Department of Health Sciences and Technology has presented the first James Mitchell Award for Excellence in Collaborative Science, established in honor of Prof. James Mitchell, to Dr. Gabriele Fontana, a postdoctoral fellow in the Laboratory of Toxicology.
The James Mitchell award honors an early career researcher who has fostered a groundbreaking collaborative research project in the fields of aging research, nutrition, metabolism, or related areas of health sciences.
The award will be presented at a ceremony on Tuesday, June 8, 2021.
